Children came in white coloured dress.

Tri-coloured strips were stuck by childrenin scrap book.

They sung the song ‘Nanhamunnarahi hu’…. and learnt to wish ‘Happy Independence Day’

Teacher tied rakhi to all studentssaying that this is the festival of brother and sister.

Janmashtami

Children were dressed as Radha and Krishna for the celebration. The pre-primary section was decorated colourfully with ‘Jhankis’ depicting Gokul, the birth place of Lord Krishna and Krishna Jhoola. A special assembly was conducted to mark ‘Dahi-handi’.

RAKSHA BANDHAN

 

Importance of the festival Raksha bandhan was discussed.

Story on Raksha bandhan narrated to children in assembly.

Rakhi making activity was done in class using colour papers, fevicol, sequins and satin ribbons.

Shown short story on Raksha bandhan on smart board in Hindi and English.

Teacher tied rakhi to all students .

Class activity : Palm- printing with tri-colour done in scrap book.

They sang the song “ Hum hongey kamyab”… and wished

‘Happy Independence Day’.

 

TOPIC – Freedom fighters

Children came dressed as freedom fighters. 

 

 

 

Children came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna for the celebration. The pre-primary section was decorated colourfully with ‘Jhankis’ depicting Gokul, the birth place of Lord Krishna and Krishna Jhoola. A special assembly was conducted to mark ‘Dahi-handi’.

 

Activity : Children made Headgears ( Krishna mukut ) in class with help of teacher with different shapes of paper cutouts.
